Photovoltaic Park at Praia Airport now producing energy

The photovoltaic park at Praia International Airport, installed in the parking area, has already begun generating energy. This positive development is part of the ongoing works at all airports in the country, which strongly focus on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

With an installed capacity of 503.36 kWp, the solar photovoltaic park at Praia Airport is capable of producing 841,058 kWh of energy per year. The panels were officially licensed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy and began operating on March 19.
