Cabo Verde Airports Featured in ACI Europe Newsletter

Cabo Verde Airports was featured in the ACI Europe – Airports Council International newsletter for its strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
The article highlights the recent ACA Level 1 certification awarded to Cabo Verde Airports and the company’s efforts to implement measures to reduce carbon emissions across the country’s airports.
“Reaching this level in less than two years of operations, as a member of the VINCI Airports network, reflects Cabo Verde Airports’ successful alignment with VINCI’s global sustainability strategy,” reads the article titled Cabo Verde Airports charts a path toward carbon optimisation.
The Airport Carbon Accreditation is the only global carbon management certification program dedicated to airports. It independently assesses and recognizes airports’ efforts to manage and reduce their carbon emissions through seven levels of certification: Mapping, Reduction, Optimization, Neutrality, Transformation, Transition, and Level 5 – the highest level in the program.
