Brava
Brava is the smallest island in the archipelago and possibly the most remote. But there are good reasons to visit Brava. If you love hiking/trekking, there are hiking routes you will surely enjoy. Cross it along its paths while discovering its villages, mountains, beaches, and wonderful landscapes.
You can also enjoy the island’s beauty from the Beleza and Nova Sintra viewpoints, or visit Fajã de Água to delight in the natural pool waters, in a relaxing and picturesque beach setting. In the city center, you can find Eugénio Tavares Square and be charmed by the beautiful flowering gardens.
Brava can only be reached by boat. The island has an old airport that has been inactive for several decades.
